The Sûreté du Québec has confirmed a 68-year-old man has been taken into custody for questioning in connection with a suspicious death in the rural town of Clarendon early Wednesday.
Police were called to an isolated house in the hamlet past Shawville, about 50 kilometres from Ottawa, at about 3 a.m.
The body of a 50-year-old man was discovered inside.
Police have not released the identity of the victim or the suspected cause of death.
