An elderly woman is dead and a man in custody after police responded to a disturbance on Range Road early Friday morning.
The call to an address between Mann Avenue and Templeton Street in Sandy Hill came in about 5:30 a.m.
Officers discovered the woman deceased and made the arrest.
Major crime investigators and forensics experts are on the scene.
Police ask that anyone with information call the major crime unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5493.
