The Canada Games Bid Evaluation Committee will spend Thursday morning touring Ottawa sports venues and hosting facilities as part of the City’s bid to host the 2021 Canada Summer Games.
Following the tour, Mayor Jim Watson and Councillor Jody Mitic, City of Ottawa Sports Commissioner, along with Ottawa 2021 Bid Committee Co-chairs Cyril Leeder and Sue Holloway, will be available to discuss the day’s events and the City’s bid with media.
Date: Thursday, March 2
Time: 12:30 p.m.
Location: Nepean Sailing Club3259 Carling Avenue
Residents can show their support for Ottawa’s bid to host the Games in 2021 by visiting ottawa2021.ca.
