Thirty people were forced from their homes Wednesday night as Gatineau firefighters worked to extinguish a condominium blaze at 131 rue de Morency, just northeast of Gréber and la Vérendrye O boulevards.
No one was hurt in the fire, which began at around 9 p.m.
Among the residents asked to leave their homes were those in adjacent buildings at 133 and 135 rue de Morency. Gatineau police said they expected those neighbours would be allowed to return to their houses Wednesday night.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
