It’s a taste of summer in Ottawa Thursday with clearing skies, a high of 26 C and even the risk of an overnight thunderstorm.
Break out the sunscreen — the UV index is forecast to be 7, or “high” — but clouds and the risk of showers will be back by the weekend and linger into next week.
For Thursday, the fog was forecast to clear by noonish with easterly winds at 20 km/h gusting to 40 by early afternoon and a muggy, but not record-breaking, humidex of 32.
