If we can just get through the last April showers – and maybe even a few flurries – May gets a downright summery start.
Thursday’s forecast is for periods of rain to end by afternoon, then a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 11 C and low of 0 C.
For Friday, expect mixed skies, a high of 15 C and a low of 8 C.
There’s a 60 per cent chance of showers both overnight and Saturday, which has a forecast high of 9 C and low of -2 C. There’s a 40 per cent chance of overnight showers or flurries.
There’s a 30 per cent chance of more showers or flurries Sunday along with mixed skies, a high of 5 C and a low of 1 C.
The last day of April looks gorgeous: sunny and 18 C.
May starts out even better with highs of 22 C Tuesday and Wednesday.
