Another scorcher on Monday with a humidex of 38 and risk of showers, thunderstorms

You got it with a downright steamy Monday in Ottawa and a heat warning from Ottawa Public Health still in effect. Environment Canada is predicting a high of 32C and a humidex of 38.

There’s a 60 per cent chance of evening showers, and the risk of a thunderstorm before clearing overnight with a low of 20 C.

Tuesday is cooler with a mix of sun and cloud and high of 25 C.

Avoid strenuous physical activity outdoors if you are not acclimatized to the hot weather.

Wednesday’s forecast is for sunshine and a high of 24 C.

Thursday is expected to be cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers and a high of 24 C.

For Friday, there’s a 60 per cent chance of showers and a high of 23.

Expect a mix of sun and cloud, a 30 per cent chance of showers and high of 24 C Saturday.

Sunday is forecast to be 26 C with a mix of sun and cloud and 40 per cent chance of showers.
