Just in time for the first weekend of summer, we’ve got rain.

It threatens every day for the next week with the exception of back-to-work Monday (for most of us).

For Friday, Environment Canada is predicting showers with the chance of a thunderstorm, a high of 22 C and a humidex of 31.

In the traffic report, Friday features a rail crossing malfunction that has the city warning motorists to avoid Fallowfield Road between Woodroffe Avenue and Hollitman Drive.

There are also single-lane closures on the Chaudière Bridge until June 29.
