Five people were transported to hospital after up to 13 people were exposed to a mixture of chlorine and an unknown acid at the Amberwood Village Golf and Country Club on Friday night.
None of the injuries were immediately considered to be life-threatening, Ottawa paramedics tweeted.
An earlier Ottawa Fire Services news release stated that the fire Hazmat unit was treating eight people on scene at 54 Springbrook Dr. in Stittsville.
Fire crews dispatch received a call at 8:11 p.m. that an unknown acid had been mixed with chlorine, the release stated.
More details to follow.
Hazmat: local hospitals being notified. None of injuries considered life threatening at this time.
