A 57-year-old worker suffered head injuries after a one-storey fall from a site on Booth Street Saturday, paramedics say.
Emergency crews were called to the site shortly after noon.
Paramedics hailed the efforts of passersby who assisted the injured man while waiting for the ambulance to arrive.
He was taken to hospital in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
