The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public’s help to identify a man believed to have been involved in an assault in May.
According to police, a verbal confrontation took place between two men at Major’s Hill Park on May 23 around 1:15 p.m. Police aren’t releasing any more details about the incident, but do say the confrontation led to an assault when one of the men attacked the other.
Police described the suspect as a Caucasian, English-speaking male, who stands around 5-10 and is between 18 and 25 years old.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Ottawa Police at 613-236-1222, ext. 5166. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
