The guns and gangs unit reports that a man was still in critical condition Monday morning as they investigate a shooting at a home on Meaghan Private in Hunt Club Park.

Ottawa Paramedic Service said Sunday night that the shooting victim needed “aggressive resuscitation” after first responders were called at 8:46 p.m.

Police said Sunday that one male was injured and that Meaghan Private was closed between Marnie Private and Jessica Private as they investigated a shooting and asked people to avoid the area.

They taped off a small area in front of 76 Meaghan Pvt., which is just north of Hunt Club Road and west of Hawthorne Road.

Ottawa Police were investigating a shooting that took place on Meaghan Prvt. Rd Sunday July 2, 2017.
