The Canadian National Track and Field Championships are taking place at the City of Ottawa’s Terry Fox Athletic Facility from July 3 to 9. During the last four days of the event, July 6 to 9, there will be no public parking at Mooney’s Bay Beach and the Terry Fox Athletic Facility.
On-site parking will not be available to ticketholders or beach goers. Limited free and paid parking options are available nearby. On-street parking restrictions will be enforced.
The best option for beach goers and ticket holders is public transit. OC Transpo Route 87, which you can connect to along the Transitway, will take you to the beach and athletic facility. If taking the O-Train, you can connect to Route 87 on Heron Road close to Confederation Station. Visit octranspo.com to help plan your route.
