Thieves may have been planning to do a little wakeboarding when they stole a boat and trailer worth about $70,000 in Val-des-Monts on Wednesday afternoon.
At least two suspects took the boat and custom trailer from a residence on Butor Road, MRC-des-Collines police said. The Vandall wakeboarding boat had a 335 hp motor in it, police said.
The home was also broken into and more items valued at a total of $10,000 were stolen.
Police are investigating, and ask anyone with information to contact the info line at 1-844-477-2529.
