A chicken barn went up in flames Saturday in rural south Ottawa.
Ottawa firefighters received a call at 2:37 p.m. for a fire at 3972 Donnelly Dr.
The barn, which is 60 feet by 40 feet and houses chickens, was on fire when firefighters arrived.
Firefighters said the barn was a total loss.
No other building was affected. There were no reported injuries.
The cause had not been determined. The fire department was sending an investigator to the property.
