Ottawa Fire Services and Enbridge Gas crews shut down a natural gas leak on Lavergne Street in Vanier on Wednesday night.
Ottawa Fire said the utility called just after 5 p.m. to report that a one-inch gas line had been severed. Rope and trench teams we brought in to assist.
No injuries were reported but a 60-metre exclusion zone was set up while the line was being repaired, a fire dispatcher said.
