Ottawa police are asking for the public’s assistance with information about gunplay that occurred near Lee Valley Tools last Saturday.
According to police, several spent shells were found near the intersection of Morrison Drive and Draper Avenue after residents reported the sounds of gunshots in the area.
Further investigation found several structures and homes had sustained damage as a result of the shooting.
However, no injuries were reported.
Anyone with information is asked to call Ottawa police at 613-236-1222, ext. 2666. Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
