One person had to be extricated after a commercial fuel vehicle and a pick-up truck collided at Fallowfield and Greenbank roads on Tuesday morning.
Around 9:58 a.m., Ottawa firefighters found one person trapped inside the passenger side of the truck.
Firefighters extricated the person and handed them over to the care of paramedics. The person was transported to hospital for minor injuries.
Fire services said crews helped disconnect car batteries and used Absorb-all to stop the spread of leaking fluids from the crash.
Police said the westbound lanes were closed until the cars could be moved.
