Police are continuing to investigate the crash that took the life of a 22-year-old Ottawa woman on White Lake Road early Monday morning.
Shannon MacPherson was found dead at the scene of what police said was a fatal single vehicle collision. Her vehicle had landed in a ditch near the Village of White Lake, about an hour’s drive west of Ottawa, around 6:25 a.m.
Renfrew OPP said an autopsy will be conducted Tuesday in Ottawa to determine the cause of death.
Const. Carlvin Burgins is leading the investigation, which closed the roadway for about nine hours Monday.
