When does a 60-per-cent chance of rain become 100 per cent?
When it’s actually raining.
Ottawa awoke Thursday morning to light rain, fog patches and 13 C. The fog patches are expected to burn off but there’ a risk of a thunderstorm along with a high of 20 C.
The precip is being named as the culprit for a few crashes, including a serious crash in rural Metcalfe and a motorcycle mishap on the 174. Be careful.
Thursday night is partly cloudy with the risk of an early-evening thunderstorm, a 40-per-cent chance of evening and overnight showers and more fog developing after midnight as the low drops to 11 C.
Pretty much the same dreary deal is forecast for Friday – mainly cloudy skies, fog patches, a 60-per-cent chance of afternoon showers and the risk of a thunderstorm. The high is 18 C.
Blame it on the rain? WB174 is backed up past Place d'Orléans. It's moving, though. #otttraffic #ViewFromaBus pic.twitter.com/ECoj41q7Jc
