After Thursday’s mixed bag of wacky weather, the outlook for Friday seems pretty straightforward, so far.

The forecast is for mainly cloudy skies, with a 60-per-cent chance of showers heading towards lunch time. There’s a chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon, but no sign of hail, high winds or funnel clouds.

Yet.

Friday’s high is expected to be a brisk 17 C.

Friday night is expected to remain mostly cloudy, with continued chance of a T-storm, and a low of 7 C.

But the real good news is that the clouds are expected to be gone by the time people wake up Saturday, not to return until mid-week.

Saturday looks mainly sunny and a bit breezy, with a high of 18 C. Some clouds may pass through Saturday night, but no precipitation is expected, and the low could dip as low as 5 C.

Sunday looks like a beauty: Sunny skies all day, a high of 21 C during the day, low of 8 C.

Monday and Tuesday look much the same with highs of 23 C and 24 C respectively, overnight lows of about 12 C.
