Frost expected to give way to summery sunshine by Saturday

Tuesday morning brought the first official frost experience for some in the region but the forecast for the rest of the week is for downright summery weather with sunshine and 21 C by Saturday.

Environment Canada predicts a mix of sun and cloud with a brisk wind, high of 15 C and low of 6 C for Tuesday.

Wednesday should usher in warmer weather with sunshine, a high of 19 C and low of 11 C. Keep in mind that normal temperatures for this time of year are highs of 13 C and lows of 3 C.

Thursday’s forecast is for a mix of sun and cloud, a 30 per cent chance of showers, a high of 20 C and low of 7 C.

For Friday, expect sunshine, a high of 19 C and low of 9 C.

While Saturday is expected to be glorious, Sunday should feature a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 21 C.

A 40 per cent chance of showers is in the forecast for Monday along with a mix of sun and cloud and high of 17 C.
