Provincial police have identified the victim in one of two fatal tractor-trailer collisions in the Cornwall area over a 13-hour period Sept. 7 and Sept. 8.
Jasmin Campeau, 31, of Cornwall was identified as the person killed when the car he was driving collided with a tractor-trailer on Highway 401 near South Stormont.
Both vehicles were eastbound.
The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.
Meanwhile, police said the investigation continues into a crash 13 hours earlier, involving three tractor trailers on Highway 401 bear South Stormont.
The investigation indicates two eastbound tractor trailers collided, and the second vehicle caromed into a third tractor trailer.
The second tractor trailer was engulfed in flames and the occupant was pronounced deceased at the scene. He has not been positively identified.
The male drivers of the other rigs were not injured.
