An apparent arsonist is torching vehicles in Orléans and Ottawa police are warning the public to keep a watchful eye on their cars.
Police say six vehicles have been set on fire in the past two weeks in the area east of Tenth Line Road. There have been no injuries and no damage to anything other than the vehicles.
Police are urging the public to stay vigilant and watch for suspicious activity and to call 911 if they do see anything suspicious, especially during overnight hours.
Anyone with information about the fires is asked to call the Ottawa police arson unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 3770 or 3771.
Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or by downloading the Ottawa Police app.
