A 23-year-old man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman in Ottawa in early September has been tracked down and arrested in Montreal.
Yannick Mugabo, 23, was apprehended in Montreal and was set to arrive in Ottawa to be charged, police said Tuesday.
According to police, a man sexually assaulted a woman in her apartment building on Riverside Drive near Smyth Road around 3:45 a.m. on Sept 2.
Investigators with the sexual assault and child abuse section were able to track down surveillance video of the suspect inside the building and in the back seat of a vehicle.
