Drivers and bus riders beware: Stay away from Rideau Street downtown this weekend.
The thoroughfare shuts down between Sussex Drive and Dalhousie Street at 8 p.m. Friday for major roadwork.
All traffic, including taxis and buses will be affected.
Transpo buses will be routed to the Mackenzie Bridge stop on the other side of the Rideau Centre.
The work is expected to be completed by Monday rush hour.
