Two people were arrested after a drug bust in the village of Rockland in which police seized cocaine, 850 methamphetamine (speed) pills, cannabis, hash, cannabis vape pens, magic mushrooms, codeine, drug trafficking equipment and $3,000 in cash.
The Ontario Provincial Police executed a search warrant on Sept. 28 after receiving complaints from the community.
Josée Jubinville, 44, of Rockland, was charged with five counts of trafficking and possessing property obtained by crime.
Sebastien Charron, 34, of Rockland, was charged with six counts of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.
Jubinville was held in custody and was scheduled to appear in court in L’Orignal on Sunday; Charron was released on a promise to appear in court Oct. 25.
