Clément Bélanger, the fifth contestant to enter the race for mayor in Gatineau, has offered a series of themes on which his campaign will be based — but details will wait.
Bélanger, who is on leave from Public Works and Procurement Canada during the campaign, entered the race Sept. 14 but didn’t immediately offer a platform.
On Monday he announced three themes: to bring better services to citizens, to “position Gatineau as the great city that it is” to create growth and revitalization, and to keep taxes from rising each year.
“Over the next few weeks, Cle´ment Be´langer will make detailed weekly announcements on his priorities for each of the themes he has chosen to put forward,” the announcement says.
