Three people were injured, one critically, in a three-car collision on Boundary Road in Ottawa’s far east end Wednesday night.
The crash occurred just before 8 p.m. on Boundary Road near Highway 417.
A 50-year-old man with “severe multi-system trauma” was taken to the Civic campus of The Ottawa Hospital where he was listed in critical condition, according to Ottawa paramedics.
As well, a male in his 40s suffered closed-head trauma and spinal injuries. A 42-year-old woman suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Boundary Road was closed between the 417 and Mitch Owens Road on Wednesday night as Ottawa police collision investigators examined the scene.
Paramedics from Ottawa and Cornwall attended the scene as did Ottawa firefighters and Ottawa police.
