The OPP’s ROPE squad which hunts down repeat offenders and parole violators is seeking a 52-year-old man known to frequent Ottawa and Gatineau who has allegedly breached parole after serving a sentence for violent crimes.
Daniel Pilon, 52, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
He is on a long-term supervision order after serving a five-year sentence for robbery, forcible confinement and overcoming resistance by attempting to choke, suffocate or strangle the victim.
He’s described as a white male, 6-3 and 282 pounds with tattoos covering both arms. He wears glasses.
Police issued a similar alert in July.
Anyone who’s had contact with Pilon or knows where he is is asked to call the province’s Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad at 416-808-5900 or toll-free at 1-866-870-7673 , Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or 911.
