Two people are in hospital following a single-vehicle rollover that occurred at about 9 p.m. Wednesday on Rideau Road between Limebank and Bowesville roads.
According to Ottawa Paramedic Services, the 52-year-old male driver and 38-year-old female passenger were trapped in the severely damaged vehicle and had to be extricated.
The driver was treated at the scene for multiple system trauma and transported to the hospital in critical condition. The passenger was also treated for traumatic injuries and transported to hospital, where she was listed in serious condition.
Ottawa Police is investigating the incident.
