A 20-year-old man was seriously wounded in a shooting Thursday evening near Walkley and Albion roads.
Paramedics responded to the call at 1485 Heatherington Ave. at about 8:15 p.m., and discovered the man with a gunshot wound to one leg. After aggressive treatment, the man was transferred to The Ottawa Hospital trauma unit.
The Ottawa police are investigating.
