The showers that plagued us on the weekend will give way to a mix of sun and clouds in the afternoon, says Environment Canada.
The temperature will drop Monday from 10 C during the morning commute to about 5 C by the afternoon. It’s a taste of what’s in store later this week, when you can trade your umbrella for a toque.
The forecast calls for winter-like temperatures by the end of the work week, and maybe a few flurries.
Thursday night, it may dip to as low as -8C, with a high of only -4 forecast for Friday by Environment Canada. The Weather Network is slightly more optimistic, forecasting a low of -4 for Thursday and a high of -3 on Friday.
Until then, though, expect daytime temperatures between 6 C and 8 C on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with a mix of sun and clouds.
