Firefighters remain on the scene Monday morning with three people who were at home when a fire broke out in an Uplands Drive home.
An occupant called 911 at 7:40 a.m. to report smoke coming from the second floor at 3225 Uplands Drive near Paul Anka Drive.
Crews declared a working fire and launched an “aggressive” interior attack to keep the flames from spreading.
No one was hurt.
A fire investigator was called to the scene to determine the cause and dollar loss, the fire department reported shortly after 8 a.m.
