A garage fire at a home north of Baseline Road near Navaho Drive was stamped out quickly Monday.
Ottawa’s fire department was called to the home at 1813 Gage Cres., where heavy smoke was reportedly coming from an attached garage.
Firefighters confirmed the home’s occupants had evacuated and were able to contain the fire to the garage.
It was declared under control less than 25 minutes after crews arrived on the scene.
No injuries were reported. Damage estimates and cause have not been determined.
