After that striking sunrise, Tuesday’s forecast is positively balmy with a high of 8 C and a bit of sun amid the cloud.

But by evening, a few showers are are expected roll in.

Wednesday’s forecast is for a mix of sun and cloud, a 40 per cent chance of early-morning flurries and a plunging temperature that will hit -6 C by afternoon and -13 C by Thursday morning.

For Thursday, expect a mix of sun and cloud and a high of -1 C. There’s a 40 per cent chance of overnight flurries and a low of -4 C.

Friday’s forecast is a mix of sun and cloud and a high of zero. The clouds take over Friday night with a 70 per cent chance of flurries or showers and a low of 0 C.

Saturday is cloudy with a 70 per cent chance of flurries or rain showers and a high of 6 C dropping to -7 C overnight.

On Sunday, expect clouds, a 40 per cent chance of flurries by day and 40 per cent by night with a high of -3 C and low of 7 C.

Monday is a mix of sun and cloud with a high of -1 C.
