For the second straight day, Gatineau police have seized a cache of drugs and weapons from a private home.
This time, they found a pair of loaded sawed-off shotguns, extra ammunition and a variety of drugs — fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine and cannabis, along with financial statements.
The raid took place Thursday evening at a house on Fortin Street, in the area where the Gatineau River flooded this spring.
One 29-year-old man faces charges of trafficking drugs and possession of prohibited weapons. He was already under a court order banning him from having any firearms.
On Wednesday night, Gatineau police seized drugs and two crossbows from another city home.
