A 36-year-old woman is facing charges after a vehicle rolled over on Boulevard Allumettières early Sunday morning.
Gatineau police report the driver was trying to negotiate the roundabout on Allumettières at the intersection of Rue Labellle, near the edge of Gatineau Park in the Hull sector of the city. The east-bound vehicle flipped over and struck a west-bound car about 40 minutes after midnight.
The driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police say she will be charged with driving with a disqualified driver’s licence (a highway traffic offence), impaired driving and refusing to comply with a demand for a breath or blood sample.
The intersection has been cleared and is open to traffic this morning.
