A woman of about 20 years old was taken to the local trauma centre after T-bone collision at Leitrim and Ramsayville roads in the city’s east end Wednesday morning.
One person was freed by firefighters from a two-door car that was partially submerged in water in a partially-filled ditch after the 8:26 a.m. crash.
They used cutters and spreaders and had the patient extricated at 8:46 a.m.
A third vehicle was also being towed away.
Police said that westbound Leitrim Road was closed to traffic.
