Have you seen a 50-foot industrial lift in your travels?
Gatineau police are looking for thieves who made off with two pieces of heavy equipment over the Nov. 10-13 weekend from a construction site on Amsterdam Boulevard near Plateau Boulevard in the Aylmer sector.
Stolen were a Fraco industrial lift, 50 feet long, as well as a “Zoom Boom,” model 8044 telescopic material handler.
A 50-foot industrial lift was stolen in Gatineau over the Nov. 10-14 weekend.
Police say thieves would have required a flatbed truck for the Fraco lift and an industrial trailer for the telescopic material handler.
A flatbed truck with orange revolving warning lights was reportedly seen in the area of the theft between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11.
The total estimated value of this equipment is $160,000.
Police concede the equipment might already have left the Outaouais and be in another region.
