A man was taken to hospital in Gatineau Thursday afternoon following a collision between a heavy truck and a van on Highway 148 in the Luskville area.
MRC des Collines police said the crash occurred at about noon and response from several agencies, including the provincial ministry of transport to untangle the vehicles and rescue the victim, who was driving the van.
Police did not release the victim’s identity and said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Luskville is about 40 kilometres northwest of Ottawa.
