A 30-year-old Gatineau man has been charged with a variety of offences related to child pornography.
Stéphane Labye appeared in court Wednesday on charges of possession, production and distribution of child pornography and breach of probation.
Police allege he contacted women through a dating service and discussed with them the possibility of having sex with children under the age of 16.
The Sûreté du Québec and Gatineau police were alerted, searched his home and seized his computer.
Any information about this man and his actions is asked to call investigators at 1-800-659-4264. People may also report any sexual exploitation of youth on the Internet at cybertip.ca.
