Six people were taken to hospital Sunday evening after a head-on crash on Highway 138 in the Moose Creek area.
A northbound driver crossed over the centre line about 8 p.m. and collided with a southbound vehicle, OPP said. A second southbound driver was unable to stop in time and ran into the first two.
The northbound driver and five people from the two southbound cars were all taken to hospital.
Police said the injuries were serious but not life-threatening.
The highway was closed until after midnight. Paramedics sent from Cornwall said they had to work through bitter cold.
