Portion of Riverside Drive closed because of busted water main

Riverside Drive northbound between Ridgewood Avenue and Hog’s Back Road is closed because of a ruptured water main, Ottawa police announced Saturday night.

Adjacent buildings may have suffered a loss of water due to the problem, a news release stated.

There was no immediate estimate about how long the road closure would be in place. City workers were on scene, with police directing traffic.
