An OPP constable from the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry detachment has been charged with domestic assault after an incident on Dec. 20.
The provincial constable, who was not named to protect the identity of the alleged victim, was off-duty at the time.
In a statement on Wednesday, OPP said the officer has been put on administrative duties and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on Jan. 9.
