Provincial police are on the lookout for a runaway tractor-trailer involved in a hit-and-run incident on another big rig on Highway 401 Wednesday night.
The crash occurred at about 8:30 p.m. at the westbound 401 service centre in Front of Yonge Township, west of Brockville.
A white tractor trailer with “All Routes” written on the side smashed into a second rig in the parking lanes before proceeding back onto the highway.
Police described the damage to the struck vehicle as “substantial.”
Any witnesses to the collision is asked to call OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
