Environment Canada’s extreme cold warning is still in effect. Early Sunday morning, the temperature was -27.
Although Sunday’s high will be -16, winds from the northwest to 15 km/hour will make it feel like -36 this morning, rising to -25 this afternoon.
On the bright side, it will be sunny out. And the sun won’t set until 4:44 p.m. today.
Monday’s temperatures should moderate a bit as clouds move in. Monday night should see periods of snow and a low of -16.
Ottawa received 8 cm of snow Saturday.
