A 53-year-old man is facing charges in a pair of east-side robberies, police say.
Paul Doyle faces two counts of robbery, two counts of wearing a disguise and one count of possession of a weapon.
Already behind bars, he is scheduled to appear in court Friday.
Police said on Dec. 10, a suspect armed with a knife walked into a corner store on Shakespeare Street near Ste. Anne Avenue in Vanier and fled with an undisclosed sum of cash.
Two days later, a suspect walked into a bank on nearby Montreal Road, produced a note demanding cash and fled with an undisclosed sum.
