In 24 hours, Ottawa’s gone from 3 C to feels-like -22 and slushy roads have turned slick.
By Saturday, it’s expected to be 4 C.
Welcome to winter weather whiplash – although the good news is that Monday’s power outages are long since fixed and everything from OC Transpo buses to flights out of the airport are back on schedule.
Careful out there #Ottawa! Sidewalks and streets VERY icy this morning on my walk to work in @Wellington_West! It’s hip-breaking weather @OttawaMorning @DougHempstead #ottweather
