Buses to Garneau high school in Orleans cancelled Monday as police investigate email threat

Buses were cancelled to Garneau High School in Orleans on Monday morning while police investigated an email threat made to the school.

A note on the school’s website said the school would be closed on Monday, and parents would get a letter “informing them of the situation.”

However, a police spokesperson said the school opened and the situation was resolved by 7 a.m.

The French-language Catholic school is on rue Carriere in Orléans.

While buses did not make the morning run, they will be running in the afternoon, said a police spokesperson.
